Immaculata University is a Catholic University, in Immaculata, on King Road in East Whiteland Township, in Chester County, in the US state of Pennsylvania.
It was established in 1920 and first started as a women's college, called Villa Maria College, adopting the name of Immaculata College, in 1929, after receiving university status, in June 2002, the school adopting its current name.
It offers bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees, having an enrollment of more than 1000 traditional undergraduate students, over 2,200 adult undergraduate students and over 1,200 graduate and doctoral students.
Immaculata's athletic teams are known as the Mighty Macs and they compete in Division III of the NCAA and the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC), in 14 men's and women's collegiate sports. Their distinctive colors are blue and white.
